Geoff Grosenbach has implemented a really cool Sparklines library for Ruby that even ships with helpers for Rails. A few examples:

	Pie—Shows a single percentage
	Smooth—Shows continuous data
	Area—Highlights data with a colored threshold
	Discrete—Uses vertical lines
