Happy to report that in record time, all Rails World 2026 talks are now online.
While all four keynotes got everyone talking about AI, this year’s talks covered a good balance of what’s new in Rails and how Rails developers are using AI.
The AI-focused talks covered: making codebases agent-friendly, harness engineering, generators, AI pipelines in plain Ruby, agent loops driving Ractor-safety, building MCPs, and rapid deploys with the help of agents.
There were also talks about: Lexxy, Active Search, ONCE, Herb in Rails 8.2 and durable Active Job workflows, plus deep dives into Solid Cable, Hotwire, Kamal, sharding, the RubyGems compact index, and HotCell (which could technically fall into both categories since it was built in response to an increase in AI-assisted threats).
Find them all on the playlist above. Enjoy watching!
More than 1,000 Rails devs from 58 countries came to Austin for the very first Rails World in the US - and our largest yet. For more than two days we had technical talks, networking, the Rails at Scale Summit, and a fantastic closing party at Banger’s.

There was a mechanical bull, live music during the lunch breaks, BBQ & taco food trucks, a vinyl record made specifically for the first US Rails World, lots of neon (my personal fave), a fun old Western twist on the Ruby Embassy (a Sheriff’s office), and a closing performance by beatboxer Yuri Lane.

One last big thank you to all of our speakers and sponsors (listed here). You’ve made this Rails World one for the books!
The next event will take place in Lisbon in October 2027. There is a lot to work out, but more info will be shared when we have it.
