Here are the Rails World 2026 speakers

Posted by Rails Foundation

The fourth edition of Rails World is fast approaching with just over three months to go, so it’s time to meet the speakers who will join us this year in Austin, TX.

But first: Thank you to everyone who applied this year. When we opened the CFP, three of the nine topics were AI-related, but in the end half of all submissions were in these three categories. Not at all surprising considering the year we are having, but there are only 20 speaking slots, and still a lot happening in Rails outside of (or maybe adjacent to) AI, so finding the right balance took a little more work this year. (Big shout out to the content committee for their patience, discernment, and endless review cycles!)

With the AI landscape changing every day, the AI talks that did make it into the final selection are practical and battle-tested in real production apps with hard takeaways that every Rails developer can walk away with immediately: how to build AI-powered pipelines in Rails, how to use agents as part of your development workflow, and how to structure your codebase so agents can actually help rather than confuse.

The rest of the program cover the other six CFP topics, from deep dives on existing and upcoming Rails defaults to deployment, Hotwire, features that make the Rails frontend layer better every day, stories of how Rails enables teams at every scale do great work, and technical talks about sharding and what’s happening under the hood in Ruby.

We’re excited to hear what these speakers have to say. It’s been a wild year, and this is an amazing lineup.

With no further ado, here is the 2026 speaker lineup:
